Filling in for fundraising staff
A key member of staff is leaving – how can we keep the momentum while we find someone else? How should we cover maternity leave, long-term sick leave or a sabbatical? Should we recruit a new development director in the midst of organisational change?
The obvious answer is to bring in one of our partners as an interim manager. It won’t necessarily be for five days a week and the daily fee is usually lower than for consultancy, so it really is a viable solution. Added to that, we all have years of relevant experience. And most of us have recruited and led substantial teams.
We’ll work intensively with you on managing your current priorities and team. It’s also an opportunity to develop new strategy, systems or infrastructure if that’s what you want to do. We can provide you with a consultant and timetable to meet your needs, whatever and wherever they may be. The truth is that, though we love being consultants, we all relish the opportunity to become fundraisers once again!
