More Partnership welcomes Katrina Hancock

10 April 2025

We are delighted to announce that Katrina Hancock has joined More Partnership as a Partner, bringing with her a wealth of experience and a proven track record in fundraising and strategic consultancy.

Katrina began her fundraising career at her alma mater, Exeter College, Oxford, where she served as Director of Development and Alumni Relations for 13 years. During her tenure, she led the highly successful 700th Anniversary Campaign, which exceeded its target of £45 million, transforming the lives of students and academics at the College.

After Exeter, Katrina moved into independent consultancy, expanding her expertise across various sectors including healthcare, environment, museums, and international development, as well as with a number of faith-based organisations. Her work has focused on developing bespoke and compelling fundraising strategies and campaigns, as well as mentoring CEOs, trustees, fundraising team members, and new recruits. Her passion for developing skilled and independent fundraisers aligns perfectly with More Partnership’s commitment to growing the sector and developing leaders of the future.

Katrina’s leadership was further demonstrated during her time as Director of Income Generation at Jersey Hospice Care, where she successfully navigated the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, leading a team to secure essential fundraising income through new programmes focussing on major gifts, direct mail appeals, and grant applications.

Over the last two years, Katrina has made important contributions to More’s impact as an Associate Partner, working with Oxford Colleges Pembroke, Christ Church, and St Catherine’s; World Vision; Crisis; and Helen & Douglas House Hospice.

Alongside her work, Katrina is Chair of Governors at a local primary school, works with young people at her local church, and for more than 10 years, has served on the Board of the Dakota Foundation – a 501(c)3 family foundation based in Colorado, USA.

Katrina said: “As a fundraiser, I worked with More Partnership for years and saw a transformation in my own fundraising activities and results. I am therefore delighted to be joining a team of trusted experts and colleagues who are passionate about working in partnership with clients to advance their great ambitions, the people they serve, and the donors who support them.”

Simon Pennington, Partner at More, said: “I’ve known Katrina since she was running one of the very best development teams anywhere in Oxbridge, and have followed her career as it has broadened out to schools, hospices and the wider charity sector – we are thrilled to have her join us as a Partner. Clients have already benefitted from her extensive experience, broad sector knowledge and strategic insight during her time as an Associate Partner, and we’re excited to be able to share that more widely in her new role.”
