There are so many opportunities for philanthropy to make a lasting difference and so much potential for donors to experience the joy of making an impact. But all too often insufficient attention is given to the backroom systems that make a fundraiser’s job effective.

I love helping people to solve some of these problems, putting in place the procedures that will make their job easier and ensuring they have the information they need at their fingertips both now and in the future. With a background in fundraising, I understand what information fundraisers need, the reports they rely on and the records they have to maintain.

Sometimes it’s the hardest things that are most beneficial. It isn’t easy to change the way people work but I’ve seen how tracking of prospects, streamlined gift processing and improvements to the information captured can really make a difference.
